Southern Style Cola Ham
This southern style cola ham is both simple and sweet! With only 5 ingredients and a classic flavor, this ham is perfect for any special occasion!

- 1 can sliced pineapple 20 oz
- 1 half fully cooked smoked ham
- 2 cups cola beverage of choice
- 1 can cooked sweet potatoes
- 1 sprig parsley
Preheat the oven to 350°F and place ham in a shallow 9x12 inch baking dish.
Arrange sliced pineapple on ham and secure with wooden toothpicks.
Pour cola over ham and place in the oven.
Bake ham for 15 min per lb, occasionally basting with pan juice.
When there is 30 min left of baking time, add sweet potatoes to the pan with juices and return to the oven.
Remove to a warm platter and let stand for 20 minutes before carving.
Garnish with parsley and serve with sweet potatoes and hot ham drippings!
- Although 15 minutes per pound is recommended, cooking times may vary so check the ham regularly to prevent burning!
- Spiral sliced hams will dry out faster than whole hams so be sure to baste regularly to maintain moisture!
