3-Ingredient Beer Biscuits
These super simple vegan biscuits use just three ingredients and are ready in just about 30 minutes! They are light and fluffy and go without just about any meal. Feel free to smother them with butter and jam for breakfast or alongside chicken dishes for a hearty dinner.

- 4 cups Classic Bisquick Mix
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 12 oz beer warm
Heat oven to 450°F.
Grease muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.
Add all ingredients to a large bowl and beat with a mixer on low until combined.
Let batter rest uncovered for 20 minutes until batter has risen slightly.
Divide batter evenly in muffin tin until cups are ½ full.
Bake for 9 - 11 minutes or until golden brown.
Let biscuits cool in the pan for a few minutes in then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- Although beer is a main ingredient in the recipe, it is mainly used as a leavening agent. Therefore the biscuits themselves should have no actual beer flavor once cooked!
- Using a lighter beer (any light lager) resulted in a fluffier biscuit that is lighter in color
- Using a darker beer (any traditional lager) resulted in a denser biscuit that is darker in color
- This recipe was tested with lager beers both domestic and craft but should be successful with almost any style you prefer! Just be aware that coloring and density may vary!
